reFuse is a utility application to bridge Pro Tools and Reason.

Features
  • Work in realtime with Reason and Pro Tools - no more bouncing Reason files to disk
  • Supports other ReWire applications, including Ableton Live
  • No extra hardware needed
  • Run up to sixteen channels of audio from Reason to Pro Tools
  • Two-way linking of transport controls
reFuse main window
Supported Systems
  • reFuse runs on Macintosh OS 8.1 - 9.2.2

When Digidesign ported Pro Tools to OS X, they added built-in support for ReWire applications, making reFuse obsolete for OS X systems. However, if you are running Pro Tools on an OS 9 system, reFuse remains the only software solution for linking to ReWire applications.

Download The Demo

We strongly suggest that you try out the reFuse demo before purchasing a copy of the full application. Any computer system that can run Pro Tools and Reason simultaneously should have no problem adding reFuse to the equation. However, unexpected conflicts may arise, and you may want to experience the working environment of reFuse before purchase.

The demo version is identical to the full version, except it quits after 15 minutes and injects random tones into the audio stream.

On some browsers, the file may download with the name "download.pl," instead of its correct name. If StuffIt Expander does not automatically decompress the download file, try dragging "download.pl" onto your StuffIt Expander application.
