If the ReWire Device menu snaps back to "Off", this means that there is an authorization problem. Rather than just quitting outright, reFuse simply will not engage any ReWire devices if the the name/serial pair is not valid.
To fix this problem, quit and re-launch reFuse. It will prompt you again for your name and serial number:
- If you type in the information, make sure the capitalization, spelling, and spacing are exact.
- If you copy/paste the information, there is a small glitch. After you paste in your name or serial, you must press one other key for the pasted information to register. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We recommend pressing the back arrow once (not delete), as a keystroke that adds no characters.
